At Herkules in Kassel, after-sales service is closely connected to the production floor. Service specialists work hand in hand with engineers and assembly teams, ensuring fast and accurate support. One of the team’s most experienced members is Graziella Scopelliti.
– When I first started working here, it was to join the export team, since they needed someone who spoke Italian – which I do. You could say that was my entry ticket to Hedson and Herkules. More than 20 years later, I’m still here, she says jokingly.
From installation support to troubleshooting and long-term maintenance, customers benefit from direct access to Herkules product expertise. Graziella plays a key role in making sure the lifts operate safely and efficiently for years to come.
– Today I’m responsible for the maintenance contracts. Usually, Herkules lifts have annual maintenance and service every three to six years. We also guarantee spare parts availability for ten years, she explains.
Technical questions are handled promptly, and more complex issues are quickly escalated to engineering and R&D, ensuring reliable solutions and minimal downtime.
– We always discuss together how to solve problems and make things easier and quicker for our customers. The goal is always to provide service and support as efficiently as possible, Graziella says.
She enjoys helping clients and finding solutions to sometimes challenging issues.
– We always do our best to assist, even if the lift is very old.
On-site service and maintenance are performed by professionals, coordinated from Kassel. They play a crucial role, Graziella explains:
– For example, we always have five service personnel on the road here in Germany, and sometimes they also cover nearby countries.
When the service technicians go to see Herkules’ clients they also get important information from the field – information that helps out with product development, design, usability, and serviceability over time.
– Flexibility is very important here, both in service and across the company. You need to see the whole picture while also tending to the details. I personally appreciate the variety in the job and really enjoy what I do, says Graziella.
