Interview with Niklas Johansson:
– If Hedson is your partner – then we’re partners for life. That’s how Niklas Johansson, Business Unit Manager and Sales Director at Hedson Technologies, puts it. He joined the company back in 1993, right after graduating from university where he studied mechanical engineering. A few decades later, he’s still there – and his dedication to Hedson and its customers continues to shine brightly. – I was planning to stay for two months, but I ended up staying on – and over the years I’ve had several different positions, he says with a smile. Niklas Johansson discovered early on the thrill of working internationally, and sales came naturally to him. – I became responsible for our biggest customer in the U.S. I sold to them and took care of their needs – that’s when I realized how much I enjoyed working with customers. I’m too social to sit in an office all day. What I love most is meeting people, solving real problems, and helping workshops work more efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively. I’ve had many different roles, but I’ve always been drawn to customer interaction, he explains. What do you appreciate most about Hedson? – The sense of togetherness. We’ve always been a tight group that helps each other out, and many people stay for a long time. Plus, we work with products that are tangible, practical, and that we’re proud of. That pride is clear when Niklas Johansson explains Hedson’s unique position in the industry. – We’re the best. It’s as simple as that. We make the world’s best products and continue to lead the development.
Already in the 1970s and 1980s, Drester invested in advanced production technology, such as injection molding tools for plastic components adapted to the demanding environment of paint shops – an investment that turned out to be spot-on, according to Niklas Johansson. – Our competitors still haven’t made those investments. Our machines are built to last, with special components that we develop ourselves. When customers buy a Hedson product, they know they’ve made the right choice – sustainable, safe, and quality-assured. We don’t compete on price; we compete on being the best, he states. In a constantly changing paint and refinishing industry, it’s important to keep up as the number of workshops decreases and those that remain grow larger. Niklas Johansson says that personal interaction continues to be his number-one working tool. – With fewer but stronger customers, long-term relationships become increasingly important. Just like with Hedson’s employees, there are several partners who have chosen to stay with Hedson for decades. – They’re our extended arm, and we always stand behind them. If we’re partners, then we’re partners for life, says Niklas Johansson.

The appropriate protection option depends on the operating environment of the SingleHeaters.
For dusty or contaminated production environments, glass protection is recommended to maintain performance and maximize lamp lifetime — up to 20,000 operating hours.
In cleaner environments, net/mesh protection is often sufficient and offers a more cost-effective solution.
QuickLift is an option on Drester wheel washers GP12 and GP10 to help get the tire lifted into washing position in a more ergonomic way. The tire is pushed onto the cradle and is automatically positioned by the wheel washer entry point. It is manually pushed in to start a wash cycle.
Drester GP24 comes with two trolleys (1 trolley = 2 tires). The trolleys are docked together and to the wheel washer for completely automated wheel washing.
We recommend up to 4 trolleys for a smooth process. There are optional article numbers for a GP24 with two trolleys (always included) or 4 trolleys. Use theConfigure-function to choose your model
More trolleys can of course be ordered separately and be used for general handling/logistics (art nr 230556).
