So how does it work?

The Drester GP24 wheel washer is used with trolleys. Once the wheels are placed on the the trolleys (two are included in a standard purchase) the machine takes care of the rest. 

You can load multiple trolleys after each other. The machine works automatically and without interruption until the last wheel is cleaned.

The cleaning process itself is done with water and plastic beads. Together they are blasted onto the rim with low pressure, ensuring a gentle and thorough cleaning for all kinds of alloy and SUV wheels.

The flush pipe sweeps along the outside of the rim during the cleaning process and this makes the target area of the granules more efficient than that of a fixed nozzle. The result is a thorough yet gentle wheel washer where no detergents or chemicals are needed. 

Wheels with Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) are safely handled by the machine.

What about the environment?

The Drester GP24 wheel washer works with a closed water system and holds a water volume of 300 litres. Water consumption is 1 litre per washed wheel. The Clean Rinse function is designed to give the wheel a final rinse with clean water after the main washing cycle. It consumes around 0,3 litres per wheel.

The water should be changed every 300 wash cycles. If the Clean Rinse function is being used it may be increased to approximately 400-500 washes. Drester has developed a water cleaning and filtration method that separates contaminants from the wastewater. The water cleaning can either be made manually in the GP24 Wheel Washer or in an automated process by using the Drester Filter eQ water cleaning unit.

How is the energy consumption?

You can program the Drester GP 24 Wheel Washer according to the workshop’s operation schedule. Shortly put – the system automatically starts heating the water in advance so that it reaches the desired operating temperature at the selected start time, and also when it is no longer in use and which weekdays the schedule applies to.
